Partners for Conservation

Partners for Conservation (PFC) is administered by the Clinton County SWCD with funds provided from the Illinois Department of Agriculture (IDOA). PFC provides cost share assistance and other financial incentives for conservation practices.

Eligible conservation practices include but are not limited to: cover crops, not till/strip till, conservation cover (pollinators), well decommissioning, filter strips, critical area planting, and more.  Once a design is created it is accompanied by a cost estimate for the project.  PFC allows SWCDs to reimburse landowners for up to 75% of the actual cost, not to exceed the average county cost. If you are interested in learning more about the program or if you have a site that needs attention, contact our office at (618) 526-7815 ext. 3. The work must be completed by fall of 2025 or Spring of 2026.

PFC projects are subject to prevailing wage requirements
